This guide assumes you have already installed Altitude Direct using this guide
Altitude API User Setup
Please note: This is required for Mobile Keys and Kiosk
We recommend Visionline version 1.2X or above.
Setup a new user
Select "Users" in Navigation window menu
Click "Add"
Input the User ID "altitude"
Last name: "API", First name: "Altitude"
Click "Save"
Setup a new Operator Template
Select "Operator templates" in Navigation window menu
Click "Add"
Input the Name: "Altitude API"
Click "Save"
Click "Database"
Enable the following options:
Doors: View
Devices: View
Mobile Access: View
Click "Cards"
Enable the following options
Extended Guest
Extended Joiner
Guest
Joiner
Joiner Suite
Click "Save"
Create a new Operator
Select "Operators" in Navigation window menu
Click "Add"
Click the [...] icon and double-click the "altitude" user created earlier
Select user group "System"
Select "Altitude API" in Operator Template
Input a password which will need to be input into Altitude Direct
Click "Save"
Mobile Key Setup
Note: Only for mobile keys
Please add the settings provided to you into the Mobile Access account details screen
Setup Altitude Direct
In Altitude Direct Key settings input the service connection details (localhost or 127.1.1.1 - depending on the network loopback)
Input the Username and Password setup above into the interface and then Click Test - It will validate connection and the username and password. A green successful box looks like the following:
