First, ensure you have set up the location for your Room Service items. You can learn how to set up locations here.

Navigate to the Food and Room Service menu, located under Content in the Administration menu in Altitude Cloud.
Next to the menu you would like to add items to, select Menu
You will then need to set up your food and beverage categories.
Adding Categories
Select the Categories tab at the top of the screen, then select New Category.
Add the details for your category and select Create.
Note: Adding a POS code does not currently ensure the item is posted to your POS, this is set for release in 2023.
Adding New Menus
Next, navigate to the Menus tab.
Select New Menu
Add the detail for your new menu, upload an image and establish the preparation time for the menu. The preparation menu will educate the waiting time the guest will be notified when they place their order.
The description is visible to the guest when browsing the location menu.
You can edit this at any time by selecting edit next to the menu, and then navigating to the Detail tab.
Now you can go into the menu you have created and start adding items and sub menus.
Adding Sub Menus
To add a sub menu, select the Add Sub Menu box.
Add Items to Menus
To add items to a menu, you can either add them as new to the menu, or add items which already exist in your menus.
To add new, ensure you are under the correct sub menu (if applicable) and then select Add Item
Enter the details of the item you wish to add, allocate to a category, add the price, preparation time and whether any discounts apply.
Adding Option Groups
To add Options to the item, select Add Option Group
You can then add options to your item.
In this example, we have added specific types of syrup that guests can add to their coffee order. In this situation, the guest can up to 10 of the options, as well as up to 10 pumps or portions of the syrup they would like.
In this case, we will add both options, and then quantity options too.
Set quantity options by enabling the switch. Then establish the lowest quantity and then the maximum amount options the guest can select.
Next, add the options available by selecting Add option, then complete the details as required.
Once you have added your items, they will automatically appear under the Items tab. You can make any updates as required here without needing to locate the item in any specific menus.
