How to Add New Minibar Items

Load, setup and manage your minibar items throughout your property.

Add Minibar Items

Navigate to Minibar Setup in Altitude Cloud, under Administration.

Ensure you are on the Items tab.

Navigate to the New Item button, located to the right of the screen.

Insert the relevant information as required for your minibar item.

These entries will be displayed to guests through Guest Mobile App, Kiosk, Guest Web Portal and In-Room App during their stay and while completing the checkout process.

Insert stock images as required for display throughout your digital solutions.

When entering the required posting code, you can find this in your property management system. This will ensure that any items added by the guest or staff member will accurately post to the guests bill.

Enter Minimum and Reorder Stock Levels to ensure you are able to receive notifications when running low and need to reorder.

Once you have added your item, select Create.

Add Minibar Items to Room Types

Once you have created your minibar items, you will need to allocate stock levels to each room type. An example of this is a Studio minibar contains one of each minibar item, whereas a Suite contains two of each minibar item.

Navigate to the item you wish to edit and select Edit.

Once in the item setup, navigate to the bottom of the screen where you will see a field called Room Type and select Add.

You can then decide whether you would like to apply the count to all room types (enable switch), or apply only to a specific room type.

Select create for quantity to be applied to room types.
