Create and Manage Channels for Staff Logs

Organise and keep on top of back of house communications with Altitude's Staff Logs.

To create a new channel for your staff logs, follow the next steps:

  1. Navigate to Staff Log, under Hotel Cloud in Altitude

  2. Select Add, next to channels

  3. Add your new channel name and description as required.

  4. To allocate the channel as private, select the switch to enable private.

Note: All users with management permissions will be able to view all private channels.

To add a new post to a staff channel, follow the next steps:

  1. Select the channel you wish to add information to

  2. Select Start Post

  3. Add information as required for log

  4. Select Post

Staff can also interact with posts on the staff log. Team members can like, posts, or comment additional information.

To comment on a post:

  1. Find the relevant post

  2. Navigate to the box stating ‘Leave a Comment’

  3. Write information as required

  4. Press enter on your keyboard or select theicon.
