Accessing Announcements Page
From the left side of the page, click the "Content" button and then "Announcements" to bring up the announcements page.
Creating Announcements
To create an announcement click the "New Item" button to reach the following creation window.
Property - Which property the announcement is for.
System - The system for where the announcement will be displayed.
Active - Whether the announcement is active or inactive.
Title - The title of the announcement.
Order - The order in which the announcement will be displayed on the system. A number is entered here.
Content - What is displayed in the announcement.
Date On - The date which the announcement will start.
Date Off - The date which the announcement will end.
Daily Time On - The time when the announcement will start appearing.
Daily Time Off - The time when the announcement will stop.
At the bottom of the creation window is where you can select the days of the week the announcement will be displayed. Click and highlight the days for which ones you would like to choose.
To select the property, click the arrow and the correct property from the drop down menu.
To select the system for which the announcement will be displayed on click the down arrow. This will bring up the following drop down menu.
From here you can click the check boxes next to the systems which you would like the announcements displayed on.
To change the date on and date off, click the date displayed in either box to bring up the calendar and time selector.
Select the specific date on the calendar which you would like. To change the time, type the time in the bottom of the calendar. Where the 12 is displayed, is the hours and the 00 are the minutes.
To change between months click the either the left or right arrow. Click the "AM" button to switch between AM and PM.
To change the daily time on and daily time off, click the times displayed in either of the boxes. This will bring up the time selector.
Type the time in the highlighted spaces in 24-hour time.
Click the "Create" button to finish creating the announcement after filling out all the required fields. However if you want to cancel the creation, click the "Cancel" button.
Processing Announcements
After creating an announcement, to remove it click the three dots and click "Remove" from the drop down menu.
To edit the announcement, click the "Edit" button. This will bring up the same announcement creation window as above, where you will be able to change the active status and details of the announcement.
Managing Announcements
Along the right side of the announcements page is the filter menu. This will allow you to find specific announcements which would otherwise be hard to find if you have a large list.
In order to sort the schedule date start by a range, first click the button to bring up the calendar.
Select the start date of the range and then select the end date. To clear the selections within the calendar click the "x" next to the "Date start" button.
In order to sort the schedule date end by a range, follow the same steps as date start from above.
To filter by system, click the down arrow to bring up a list of systems. Click the system from the list that you want to filter.
