Building Menus for Guest App

You are able to create specific menus and dashboards depending on the guest's booking state for your Guest Mobile App and Guest Web Portal.

Updated over 7 months ago

Ensure that you have all required pages for your Mobile App or Web Portal created.

You will also need to ensure that your compendium is complete and events are populated.

This will help with the setup of your dashboards when linking tiles with pages or functions.

Locations

There are three locations within the app or portal you will need to build menus for.

These are:

  • Dashboard

  • Account

  • More

There are three booking states for guests you need to create menus for.

These are:

  • NoReservation

  • UpcomingReservation

  • InHouse

This ensures you offer guests the correct information that is relevant for the stage in the booking journey they are at.

For example:

A guest with no reservation booked, is perhaps interested in the facilities of the property and whether there is availability for an upcoming trip.

A guest with an upcoming reservation will need to know the location of the property, whether there are transfers available from the airport etc.

An in-house guest is interested in ordering room service, making requests etc.

A Dashboard Menu will show as tiles to the guest as pictured:

An account menu will show as a list to the guest as pictured:

A more menu will show as a list to the guest as pictured:
