  1. Unpack unit/s carefully with someone helping you (inspect the package for any issues and please take photos)

  2. Inspect the kiosk unit/s for any hardware misplacements; including:

    1. Using the keys, open the back of the unit and ensure everything is still in place after shipment (including cables and plugs)

    2. Double check the printer and encoder are still aligned with the front panel

    3. If you have any queries please take a photo and send it to your Altitude representative

  3. If your kiosk unit has a stand, then:

    1. Unpack your stand and stand it on its feet

    2. With help place the Kiosk unit on the stand and secure it with the 4 bolts provided

    3. The cable holes will have aligned (if the hole has not been exposed give the metal circle a slight tap with a hammer)

    4. Pull the cables in from the stand to the Kiosk unit

    5. Attach these cables to their respective connections in the Kiosk unit

    6. The Kiosk units power plugs can then be covered with the supplied cover

  4. If you have a terminal mount then:

    1. Remove the terminal side panel cover which will provide a cable hole

    2. Attach your terminal to the terminal mount, routing the cables based on your terminal model

    3. If power is required pass the power cable through from the inside to the outside and plug into the supplied power plug inside the unit

    4. Attach the terminal mount to the kiosk unit

    5. If required plug in the USB cable to the internal USB port

      1. If you require additional USB plugs you can pull the external plugs inside the unit

    6. Please ensure all cabling is clear of any moving parts (including the front and back doors)

    7. Please take a photo of the internal connection and external setup for confirmation with your Altitude representative

  5. Once all cables have been attached securely and the unit has been moved to its place of use plug in the power cable and network cable (or wi-fi antenna) - this will be on the stand if you have attached the stand's cable extension.

  6. Switch the main power switch (orange switch) which will glow when power is available

    1. The RFID dispenser and printer will now be powered up

  7. Attach a reel of printer paper to the supplied printer reel holder, and then in place on the paper holder (silver section), slide the paper into the paper feed hole, if the printer doesn't automatically feed the paper; push the “feed” button on the side of the printer, the paper will be pulled in

  8. Place RFID cards inside the RFID stacker, add the supplied card weight on the top of the stack

  9. Reattached the back covers and any other covers you may have removed

  10. Connect the network cable into the network port on the back of the unit or stand. We recommend a cabled network, otherwise attach the wi-fi antenna to the unit

  11. Press the small silver power button on the back of the unit (or stand) - the unit will start up

  12. Upon Windows start-up ensure there is a network connection (or connect to a wi-fi network)

  13. Open AnyDesk and provide your Altitude representative the AnyDesk ID and accept their connection to the Kiosk to continue the Kiosk setup (including installing the latest version of the Kiosk software and working with you to show you how Windows 10 Kiosk mode works for future debugging if required)

  14. The kiosk is now ready to use and can be remotely managed via Altitude Cloud

AnyDesk Additional Setup
